When can I order GoldenTwist pretzels?
Our regular bakery pickup day is Saturday. Place your Saturday preorder by Thursday at 8 PM.
Need pretzels during the week? Weekday orders are available by request with a $50 minimum and at least 48 hours’ notice, based on our baking schedule and availability.
Need them sooner? Just ask! 🥨 We can sometimes accommodate last-minute orders depending on our schedule and what we have available.
How do weekday orders and payment work?
Build your order and submit a weekday request through our Build Your Box page. You won’t pay when you submit the request. Once we approve the date, we’ll send you a Square payment link. Your order is officially confirmed once payment is received.
Do you have a storefront?
GoldenTwist is a local preorder pretzel bakery in Johnson County, Kansas. We bake by preorder with scheduled local pickup rather than operating a traditional walk-in storefront.
Can I order ahead for a party or event?
Absolutely. You can pick up ahead of time and enjoy your pretzels within 1–2 days, or freeze them until you’re ready. They freeze beautifully and reheat in minutes, which makes planning ahead easy.
How should I store or freeze my pretzels?
For the best experience, enjoy them within 1–2 days. If you’re saving them for later, we recommend freezing them rather than refrigerating them. When you’re ready, reheat and enjoy them warm.
How do I reheat my pretzels?
Air fryer: 325°F for 2–4 minutes
Oven: 350°F for 5–8 minutes
Microwave: 10–20 seconds at a time until warm
For frozen pretzels, allow a little extra time. Heat just until warm and soft to avoid drying them out.
What sauces do you offer?
Choose from Sweet German Mustard, Cheddar Cheese Sauce and White Queso Sauce. Some boxes include sauce selections, and extra 1.8 oz sauces can be added for $1.50 each.
Can I customize my box?
Yes. Build Your Box lets you mix and match Classics, Burger Buns, Sandwich Rolls, Slider Rolls, Breatzels and Pretzel Bites, then add the sauces you want.
Do the pretzels come salted?
Yes. Pretzel salt is included on the side so you can add as much or as little as you like.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
Not at this time. GoldenTwist does not currently offer gluten-free pretzels or pretzel breads.
