GoldenTwist started with a love for really good soft pretzels — and a problem: the kind we were craving just wasn’t easy to find.
Most of the options nearby were mass-produced or packaged on a shelf, and they just weren’t the same as a really good, freshly baked pretzel.
So, the solution was simple: make them.
Deep-brown pretzel crust. Soft, chewy center. That unmistakable pretzel flavor.
After sharing them with friends and family and hearing how much people loved them, an idea started to take shape: why not share them with more people?
And that’s how GoldenTwist began. 🥨

We believe a great pretzel should look and taste like a real pretzel — deeply browned on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with that distinctive pretzel crust and flavor.
GoldenTwist pretzels and pretzel breads are made in small batches with simple ingredients and baked with care. From our classic twists to Breatzels, buns, sandwich rolls, sliders and bites, everything starts with the same goal:

GoldenTwist is a local preorder pretzel bakery in Johnson County, Kansas. We bake by preorder with scheduled local pickup rather than operating a traditional walk-in storefront.
